MòGORO is a low table of large proportions (120x150cm), to be used as a support for books and magazines or drinks to be sipped during idle conversations intertwined between one sofa and another. It has a metal support with four oblique legs - finished with ferromica powders - and a tripartite top, played on the meeting/separation of different materials - wood, Corian© and natural stone - which are sat next to each other, yet are divided by an open joint, with passing light, emphasizing the visual lightness of the thin table top. The smallest portion, Corian© made, has no characterisation, other than the visual and tactile silkiness of its surface; the wood made one (open pore ribbed oak) includes a slight concavity suitable for receiving small objects or bonbons, while the one in natural stone bears deep grooves which, with the shadows they generate, define a geometric lattice evocative of one of the most typical graphic patterns of traditional Sardinian weaving, which this piece of furniture is inspired by.
